Ms. Hemavathy Nithyanandhan is an Indian born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and lives in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Earned her B.A, M.A (Economics) from University of Madras and M.Phil. from Madurai Kamaraj University and PhD (Economics) from University of Malaysia. Working currently as Assistant Professor in Ministry of Higher Education-College of Applied Sciences, Nizwa- Oman. Possess teaching experience for more than 20 years in the field of economics and other related areas. Her research interest is in SME's, Micro-Credit, Micro-Finance, and Gender studies. Published many scholarly articles in international journals.
